Transitioning from wrestling to acting hasn't always favoured some athletes. But for Dave Bautista, this move has seen his involvement in some top movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, Expendables, Kick boxer:Vengeance and quite recently My Spy.

An ex-special forces, now CIA agent is tasked with an undercover job; surveliance While undercover, he is discovered by the child of the target and has to do as she says, else she blows his cover. And as it is with kids and demand, they never end. From skating, to show and tell in school, to training her as a spy recruit, he opens up his humanity and falls for her mother. When thorns rear their head in the operation loyalties are tested.
Obvious flaws exist in the storyline though. For starters, who trust their kid with a total stranger, no matter what the child says. Even going as far as sending him to the school. Who trusts that way?
And the gay couple next door, I so didn't see that coming. "no one suspects the gay couple" truly. But I loved how they were private contractors.
My Spy strikes a semblance to The Pacifier. The comedy, spy, action and entanglement with family. I'll give it a rating of 8 based on It's comedic and entertaining content. Would have loved to see more action.
For an action comedy movie, it did quite good.
