The Invisible Man 2020

The horror movie genre is a sort after genre. It's ability to instill fear despite being an act is quite commendable.

Cast

Elizabeth Moss, Oliver Jackson Cohen,Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid,Harriet Dyer, Micheal Dorman.

The invisible man was a break from the norm of regular horror story. With horror movies and haunting, you would expect the presence of a malevolent spirit, but the case was quite different. It takes a look at the life of an abusive woman who must do what she can to escape her abuser; her husband.

A suicide case turns to a haunting case, as the "spirit" of her husband comes knocking. With the lives of loved ones on the line, she races against time to prove her innocence and sanity.

The main actress Elizabeth Moss who starred as Cecilia Kass  was impeccable in her acting. Her facial expressions were dead on as they accurately depicted what she was going through at different stages. Though the movie leaned on a feminist level, it was a strong motivation to not stay in an abusive relationship. Oliver Jackson Cohen (Adrian) also delivered perfectly. Sending out psychopathic vibe throughout the movie.

The supporting acts were also on que and delivered accordingly. I could feel their fear and anger. The directing was also amazing, as the intense kept building up to the very end.

This remake was definitely worth it, though it wasn't the continuation of the initial storyline. Popular rating sites like Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic were on the favourable side as they gave  positive reviews of up to 90percent. The movie was a box office hit with a budget as low as 9million it grossed above 100million.

I'll recommend this anytime. Also try watching it at night, it makes the feeling more intense.

Movie Review: Moonshot

Well, well, well, would you look at Mars. I've been craving a romance movie for a while now and when I saw the trailer for Moonshot, I was like, yes. Finally! Something to see.  Yeah, maybe not so much happiness after all. Movie Plot Following the evolution of earth in 2049 where Mars is now habitable and a plane ticket cost $950,000, two teenagers struggle to come to their reality. While one longs to go to Mars because he doesn't feel at home on earth, the other misses her boyfriend and decides to go and join him. With so many dreams on the line, the two of them explore their fantasies. Okay. Where do I start from? Seeing Lana Condor and Cole Sprouse gave me so much happiness. You just have to love those two because of their individual performance in so many other movies. Case in point: Riverdale and To All The Boys I've Loved Before. I didn't have any expectations aside from seeing both of them together.  The storyline was pretty normal. You know, those re...

The Gentlemen; Movie Review

CAST   Matthew McConaughey (Michael Pearson) Charlie Hunnam (Raymond Smith) Henry Golding (Dry Eye) Hugh Grant ( Fletcher) Michelle Dockery (Rosalind Fletcher) Jeremy Strong (Matthew Berger) Eddie Marson (Big Dave) Colin Farrell (Coach).       The words " drug" and " Mafia" have been known to be associated with blood, chain of commands and dirty deals. The world of drugs isn't one to be taken lightly as every action can be interpreted as either weakness or strength. The Gentlemen showed a slightly different approach to the drug world. It wasn't without deaths and orders but it hard a slightly comedic part to it. Spoilers ahead .      If you've seen the movie, then you can either agree or disagree with some of the wordings here. But if you haven't, I'll try to lessen the spoilers. If the movie had been 3hours long or even 4hours, I doubt if I would notice. Because I was glued to my screen till the very end. The blend and scenery was q...
