Where do we draw the line for love?

Is there a line one should never cross when matters of the heart are involved?

How do we love sanely and yet protectively?

How much power does our childhood,.our upbringing have on us?

These questions and more are sure to cross your mind once you lay your eyes on this Netflix original series titled- YOU.

The second season had its release date on the 26th December 2019 and has garnered positive reviews ever since.

At first glance at the title, you just know the series is supposed to be about romance, right? No.

It IS about romance but not the NoteBook type, it's a whole different ball game.

It surrounds the life of Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a bookstore manager who lives in his books and lacks a social life. He perceives his decisions and actions as full of love and right and noble. He analyzes, predicts, investigates, stalks. He takes measures, and can practically do anything  because of YOU. He can be said to be part sociopath and psychopath because deep down, as crazy as his measures are, he actually feels he is a good man.

In the course of his life, he falls in love thrice or so he thought. First was Candice (Ambyr Childers ), then  Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and then Love Quinn ( Victoria Pedretti ).

With each lady, the price for love was costly, family, friends and even their lives were at stake, all for love.

The entanglements in between complicated some cases even more,.but Joe never stopped.

Fate or Karma definitely had it out for Joe and he was blessed or cursed with someone who adored him and could also do anything for him, absolutely anything at all.

Whether in New York or Los Angeles,Joe Goldberg never fails to make sacrifices.

With two seasons out, and a rumoured third season, this is definitely a must see. It touches on upbringing and its effect on how we turn out, as we glimpse into the childhood of Joe

There are lines that should never be crossed in the course of love. No matter how just we think it is or how our munds twist it morally. some lines should not be crossed. Ever!.

The turns in the The Turning

The horror movie genre is one of the most successful genre in the movie industry. Scary endings and suspense filled scenes have carved a niche and are not going anywhere anytime soon.     Inconclusive endings are not new to the genre but some endings are indeed too inconclusive. The turning is a 2020 horror movie which held a lot of scare factors but failed to land at a significant point.      With little similarities to The Boy 1, a young lady decides to tutor an orphaned little girl at their manor but is met with circumstances she could have never prepared for.         The whole story started out quite well -the creaking doors, the shadows, the nightmares and then there was an addition of the creepy behaviour given off by Miles, the brother of Flora.      The major flaw in the movie was the absence of a definitive conclusion, too many questions were left unanswered- Is Kate insane? Is Miles truly posses...

Movie Review: A Madea Homecoming

Madea is back! Hallelujer! After the Madea Family Funeral we thought we had seen the last of this iconic screen character, but 2022 has given us a reason to laugh out loud. Movie Plot Madea's Homecoming surrounds the family getting together for Madea's great grandson's graduation ceremony. As expected when the Madea clan comes together, secrets are revealed and chaos the order of the day. Spoilers ahead First off, Madea is a great grandmother. Not grand. Great grand. That's three generations alive in the clan. How old exactly is Madea? Did she take some vampire blood?  Back to serious issues? What type of best friend helps her best friend divorce her husband and then fall in love with the best friend's husband to the extent of wanting to get married to him. That's wrong on so many levels. Especially if you include the fact that she was the attorney in charge of the divorce and the douche bag got everything from the divorce. Babe! She freaking broke e...

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

Okay. I absolutely adored this movie. I'm a sucker for games and movies. So when game characters are incorporated into movies so perfectly, I get all giddy. Cast Ben Schwartz,James Madsen, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Lee Majdoub. The redesign was totally worth it, even though it cost more money, it paid off. Spoilers ahead.        I've watched different sonic cartoons and also played the game, but the movie was a hit. A blue alien hedgehog leaves his own planet because people want to use his powers..He comes to Earth-Green hill to be specific and spy's on all the neighbors, particularly the sheriff whom he calls "Donut Lord". But as it is with lending assistance to strangers, trouble always follows.      Lemme start with the voicing for sonic. Ben Schwartz was pretty impressive in his voicing, sounding like a young boy and portraying how their mind works.  Sheriff Tom (Madsen) was cool. Not so serious and not so unserious. Hi...
