Movie Review: The Adam Project

"Oh, that's funny. It farts when I laugh."

I just can't.😂🤣🤣

Halo. Another movie review here. We'll be looking at The Adam Project.

Movie Review

A pilot goes back in time to search for his missing wife in so doing enlists the help of his younger self and his late father.

From the first time I saw the trailer I knew I would laugh my ass out. Ryan Reynolds has decided to just feature in any movie he absolutely feels like.

Storyline

Let's start with the not-so spectacular part of this movie. The storyline wasn't excitingly crazy. It was there. Just there.

Time travel with a blend of romance missions, messing with the timeline, embracing loss, and a happy beginning at the end. That pretty much sums it up.

The good part is that it was grand. The action, the shooting, the comedy.

Acts

Ryan Reynolds was Ryan Reynolds and there's no changing him. The way he talks and laughs and just includes those ridiculous lines always has me in a good mood.

Mini Reynolds, Walter, was the star of the show. I have to give extra kudos to the casting director. How they were able to find a child who could radiate Reynold's mood, tone, and character. It's like seeing Reynolds in a younger self.

He nailed his part to the T and literally stole the show from Reynolds.

The last time Mark Ruffalo and Garner were together was in Thirteen Going on Thirty. Seeing them again was cute. How is Garner still looking the same way? How does she do it?

Zoe Saldana is and will forever remain a badass. Her entry into the movie was badass, and in Zoe style.

The Bad Guy

Well, ambition is a tricky trait. When left  unbridled it leads to the sort of outcome you would expect. Happy science killed her in the end.

The movie was generally enjoyable to watch. The romance between Reynolds and Zoe was touchy.

One of my favourite part was when Reynolds introduced his young self to his wife. "Remember how you always said you wished you met me earlier?"

Crazy😂🤣

Walter (mini Reynold) knew the assignment and didn't disappoint.

Mark Ruffalo was classic Dr. Banner. Smart and funny in his nerdy way.

What were your favourite parts?

Rating: 7/10

Comments

  1. My favourite parts should be when he just met his younger self and he was bleeding

Young Adam: Wait wait wait. Bullet. You were shot?
Grown Adam: No I was stabbed with a bullet 😂😂😂

"When I say 'classified', what does your brain hear?
    Chocolate?

And the fact he still brought his one liner from Deadpool... Superhero landing!

Movie Review: Encanto

"Maybe your gift is being in denial." Ouch! That stung. Have you seen Encanto ? If yes, ride along and let's go through fun scenes. If you haven't, book a seat, enjoy the ride. Have you accidentally called it Enchanto instead of Encanto? No need to fret, I also had the same issue the first time I sww the trialer. Movie recap A family is blessed with supernatural powers with each child exhibiting a different power from the other. The magic surrounding the family falls into chaos and it's up to one member of the family to save them all. Madrigal! I've been humming her song for a while now. The tune and beat just stay with you. Plot Massive spoilers ahead. In the Madrigal family we have Abuela, and her three kids—Pepa, Julietta and Bruno and then we have her grandkids—Mirabel, Dolores, Isabella, Louisa, Camilo and Antonio. Pepa, Julietta and Bruno are blessed with weather influence, healing and vision respectively. Their kids Louisa, Isabella, Camilo,...

Movie Review: Moonshot

Well, well, well, would you look at Mars. I've been craving a romance movie for a while now and when I saw the trailer for Moonshot, I was like, yes. Finally! Something to see.  Yeah, maybe not so much happiness after all. Movie Plot Following the evolution of earth in 2049 where Mars is now habitable and a plane ticket cost $950,000, two teenagers struggle to come to their reality. While one longs to go to Mars because he doesn't feel at home on earth, the other misses her boyfriend and decides to go and join him. With so many dreams on the line, the two of them explore their fantasies. Okay. Where do I start from? Seeing Lana Condor and Cole Sprouse gave me so much happiness. You just have to love those two because of their individual performance in so many other movies. Case in point: Riverdale and To All The Boys I've Loved Before. I didn't have any expectations aside from seeing both of them together.  The storyline was pretty normal. You know, those re...

The Gentlemen; Movie Review

CAST   Matthew McConaughey (Michael Pearson) Charlie Hunnam (Raymond Smith) Henry Golding (Dry Eye) Hugh Grant ( Fletcher) Michelle Dockery (Rosalind Fletcher) Jeremy Strong (Matthew Berger) Eddie Marson (Big Dave) Colin Farrell (Coach).       The words " drug" and " Mafia" have been known to be associated with blood, chain of commands and dirty deals. The world of drugs isn't one to be taken lightly as every action can be interpreted as either weakness or strength. The Gentlemen showed a slightly different approach to the drug world. It wasn't without deaths and orders but it hard a slightly comedic part to it. Spoilers ahead .      If you've seen the movie, then you can either agree or disagree with some of the wordings here. But if you haven't, I'll try to lessen the spoilers. If the movie had been 3hours long or even 4hours, I doubt if I would notice. Because I was glued to my screen till the very end. The blend and scenery was q...
