MOVIE REVIEW; SCOOB

SCOOB 2020

Adventure, Crime, and a dose of laughter is sure to follow the Mystery Incorporated.

Cast

Zac Efron, Mark Wahlberg, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte, Frank Welker, Amanda Seyfried.

This story had an underlying message embedded--even the best of friends have disagreements. The bond between Shaggy and Scooby has always been undeniably strong, their eating habits, their show of cowardice and their unusual manner of locating trap doors.

The inclusion of an origin story and the blend with other Hannah Barbara characters brought about a serious-not so serious storyline.

Simon Cowell's cameo appearance was unexpected to be honest. Zac Efron as Freddy, no surprise there. The actor has proven that he can fit into any role, be it as a serial killer, a musician, a highschool sweetheart, or even a "green" activist.

Will Forte did fairly well as Shaggy, considering the shoes he had to fit. Really happy that Scooby wasn't changed, that would have been a total turn off.

Overall, the story was entertaining to watch, even caught myself holding back tears towards the end of the movie (It was touching).

The Gentlemen; Movie Review

CAST   Matthew McConaughey (Michael Pearson) Charlie Hunnam (Raymond Smith) Henry Golding (Dry Eye) Hugh Grant ( Fletcher) Michelle Dockery (Rosalind Fletcher) Jeremy Strong (Matthew Berger) Eddie Marson (Big Dave) Colin Farrell (Coach).       The words " drug" and " Mafia" have been known to be associated with blood, chain of commands and dirty deals. The world of drugs isn't one to be taken lightly as every action can be interpreted as either weakness or strength. The Gentlemen showed a slightly different approach to the drug world. It wasn't without deaths and orders but it hard a slightly comedic part to it. Spoilers ahead .      If you've seen the movie, then you can either agree or disagree with some of the wordings here. But if you haven't, I'll try to lessen the spoilers. If the movie had been 3hours long or even 4hours, I doubt if I would notice. Because I was glued to my screen till the very end. The blend and scenery was q...

Movie Review; Vampires vs. The Bronx

Cast Coco Jones, Method Man, Chris Reed, Jarden Micheal, The Kid Mero, Gregory Diaz IV, Zoe Saldana, Sarah Gardon. Vampires vs. The Bronx is about a group of kids trying to save their neighbourhood with amateurish vampire techniques—which come in handy. How do kids always have this confidence to face the evil that's new to them? If I as much as see a rat, I'm getting the hell out of that place—but not these kids. They uncover conspiracies and charge head-on. Impressive. They might not be able to stand up to school bullies, but they have what it takes to stand up to vampires and clowns.  The movie had a regular dose of finding one's strength in friendship and solidarity. And the usual community-never-believing-the-kids until the worse has happened or is close. Please, you must not divulge information to everyone. Don't take the bait and talk about how you're alone searching for a purpose or have no family around who'll miss you. That's how people...
