SCOOB 2020


Adventure, Crime, and a dose of laughter is sure to follow the Mystery Incorporated.

Cast

Zac Efron, Mark Wahlberg, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte, Frank Welker, Amanda Seyfried.


This story had an underlying message embedded--even the best of friends have disagreements. The bond between Shaggy and Scooby has always been undeniably strong, their eating habits, their show of cowardice and their unusual manner of locating trap doors. 


The inclusion of an origin story and the blend with other Hannah Barbara characters brought about a serious-not so serious storyline.

Simon Cowell's cameo appearance was unexpected to be honest. Zac Efron as Freddy, no surprise there. The actor has proven that he can fit into any role, be it as a serial killer, a musician, a highschool sweetheart, or even a "green" activist.

Will Forte did fairly well as Shaggy, considering the shoes he had to fit. Really happy that Scooby wasn't changed, that would have been a total turn off.

Overall, the story was entertaining to watch, even caught myself holding back tears towards the end of the movie (It was touching).

Movie Review: A Madea Homecoming

Madea is back! Hallelujer! After the Madea Family Funeral we thought we had seen the last of this iconic screen character, but 2022 has given us a reason to laugh out loud. Movie Plot Madea's Homecoming surrounds the family getting together for Madea's great grandson's graduation ceremony. As expected when the Madea clan comes together, secrets are revealed and chaos the order of the day. Spoilers ahead First off, Madea is a great grandmother. Not grand. Great grand. That's three generations alive in the clan. How old exactly is Madea? Did she take some vampire blood?  Back to serious issues? What type of best friend helps her best friend divorce her husband and then fall in love with the best friend's husband to the extent of wanting to get married to him. That's wrong on so many levels. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

Okay. I absolutely adored this movie. I'm a sucker for games and movies. So when game characters are incorporated into movies so perfectly, I get all giddy. Cast Ben Schwartz,James Madsen, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Lee Majdoub. The redesign was totally worth it, even though it cost more money, it paid off. Spoilers ahead.        I've watched different sonic cartoons and also played the game, but the movie was a hit. A blue alien hedgehog leaves his own planet because people want to use his powers..He comes to Earth-Green hill to be specific and spy's on all the neighbors, particularly the sheriff whom he calls "Donut Lord". But as it is with lending assistance to strangers, trouble always follows.      Lemme start with the voicing for sonic.
