The Spies in Disguise- which is also Will Smith's second animation is a brilliant piece of work.

Cast

Will Smith (Lance Sterling), Tom Holland (Walter Beckett), Rashida Jones (Marcy Kappel), Ben Mendelsohn (Robotic arm Villain), DJ Khalid (Ears), Reba Mac in tire (Joy Jerkins).

      The story centers around a genius kid- Walter who has no social life but a talent for  inventing non-dangerous spy equipment. He feels there is a less violent way to save the World and seeks the help of the world's best Spy- Lance Sterling (Will Smith) in order to achieve this. But we must keep in mind that all change is hard at the beginning, messy at the middle and eventually beautiful at the end.


      Okay, enough plot for now. Down to analysis. The flow between the two actors, Will Smith and Tom Holland was apt. Despite not seeing each other over the course of the 2 years which the film was being produced. The voicing from the actors was just so in tune with their animations that I almost actually believed Will was a real life pigeon. Just kidding.

Smith was in character and his acting skills has never been up for questioning.

                                                      

     I never thought I would love any other Will animation the way I loved Shark Tale, but Spies in Disguise has totally changed my mind.

    Holland, on the other hand was really at his A-game. This is his second animation I'm actually seeing, the first being as a character named Jip in Dolittle.

        He played out the role of a nerd and animal lover-specifically pigeon lover well and I was really entertained.

Other characters like Marcy (Rashida Jones) Ears (DJ Khalid),were really great.

I especially loved those two guys at the agency who believed that the handshake from Sterling was super electrified.

Oh, by the way. Do wash your hands please.

The lesson to be learnt was passed down clearly. No matter who we think we are, no matter how high in rank we are, sometimes we need other people's assistance. Friendship, Teamwork and Trust do go a long way to build a standing relationship.There's always another way.Violence isn't always the answer.

     The reviews from critics praised the performance of the actors but had mixed feelings about the message.

As for me, it was worth the time and I really laughed to my heart's content.

    Really loved your enthusiasm in the review. I find it very soothing. One statement you made that caught my attention was that; change is hard at the beginning, messy in the middle and beautiful at the end. Keep up the good work.

Movie Review; Vampires vs. The Bronx

Cast Coco Jones, Method Man, Chris Reed, Jarden Micheal, The Kid Mero, Gregory Diaz IV, Zoe Saldana, Sarah Gardon. Vampires vs. The Bronx is about a group of kids trying to save their neighbourhood with amateurish vampire techniques—which come in handy. How do kids always have this confidence to face the evil that's new to them? If I as much as see a rat, I'm getting the hell out of that place—but not these kids. They uncover conspiracies and charge head-on. Impressive. They might not be able to stand up to school bullies, but they have what it takes to stand up to vampires and clowns.  The movie had a regular dose of finding one's strength in friendship and solidarity. Movie Review: A Madea Homecoming

Madea is back! Hallelujer! After the Madea Family Funeral we thought we had seen the last of this iconic screen character, but 2022 has given us a reason to laugh out loud.
