MOVIE REVIEW; JUSTICE LEAGUE

JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK: APOKOLIPS WAR I didn't know how to deal with this movie. In fact, I still don't. This finale to a long storyline left me with so many whys, what ifs, and a lot of brooding. Cast Matt Ryan, Jerry O'Connel, Taisaa Famiga, Tony Todd, Stuart Allan, Ray Chase, Rosario Dawson, Rain Wilson, Rebecca Romijin, Camilla Ludington, Christopher Gorham Dark Side is one villain that's a proverbial pain in the ass. Even Superman has issues defeating him. A devorer, a conqueror and chaos ate some terms attributed to Dark Side. Justice League Apokolips War was just nerve-wrecking. Favourites fell, some died, some were brainwashed. Yes, the Rotten Tomato ratings was a 100. And some would argue that it's a befitting ending. I was just sad while watching. This doesn't take away the action and fight scenes, even a growing love interest. Well, what can I say. We just have to wait for the next flash point.

MOVIE REVIEW; SCOOB

SCOOB 2020 Adventure, Crime, and a dose of laughter is sure to follow the Mystery Incorporated. Cast Zac Efron, Mark Wahlberg, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte, Frank Welker, Amanda Seyfried. This story had an underlying message embedded--even the best of friends have disagreements. The bond between Shaggy and Scooby has always been undeniably strong, their eating habits, their show of cowardice and their unusual manner of locating trap doors.  The inclusion of an origin story and the blend with other Hannah Barbara characters brought about a serious-not so serious storyline. Simon Cowell's cameo appearance was unexpected to be honest. Zac Efron as Freddy, no surprise there. The actor has proven that he can fit into any role, be it as a serial killer, a musician, a highschool sweetheart, or even a "green" activist. Will Forte did fairly well as Shaggy, considering the shoes he had to fit. Really happy that Scooby wasn't changed, that would have been a total turn off. Overal

MOVIE REVIEW; THE WRONG MISSY

THE WRONG MISSY Blind dates are definitely a gamble. You never can tell who you'll run into or what you'll be dealt with. The Wrong Missy is a hilarious movie and was released by Netflix on May 13, 2020. Cast Lauren Laptus, David Spade, Nick Swardson, Gieoff Pierson, Jackie Sandler, Sarah Chalke, Joe Anoia. Lauren Lapkus plays Missy, a socially inept, weird lady who is quite frankly "crazy". Despite being a certified counsellor, a hypnotist, paramedic, and many other things, she still finds it hard to find love. The stunts she pulled in the movie are so bizzare and her laughter- high-pitched. David Spade plays Tim Morris, a successful man who is trying his best to find love and impress his boss. He definitely gets more than he bargained for on this trip and must deal with the consequences. A weekend of fun at the carribean, turns to a mad adventure for both Missy and Tim, as things take a nose-dive. Definitely expected more from other cast members, because it looked l
